Dr. Claudia Görg
Abteilung Banerjee
I am one of the instructors and academic advisors of the American Studies Department at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. My current teaching load includes language courses as well as literature courses. The focus of my literature classes is on Jewish American literature, ethnic literature, Realism, Southern literature, and the questions of identity and cultural memory in an increasingly global world.
